Scar Light Kit

Hyperpigmentation is stubborn to diminish, as it lies deep below the skin’s surface. Using our Scar Light System will exfoliate dead skin layer by layer, allowing brighter, lighter skin to prevail; however, it takes time for this natural remedy to develop. Remember, consistency is key, and sticking to the same product regimen allows your skin to adapt, understand, and process the ingredients with effectiveness. This system can offer some change in as little as 3 weeks, depending on skin type and the severity of your damage, but it’s crucial to continue use for 3 to 6 months for the natural reversal of dark pigmentation. Results will vary based on skin type and lifestyle. Exposing pigmentation to the sun, heat, or heat-related beauty treatments as well as some medications can cancel out the efforts of our Scar Light Kit System. Always remember to use your sunscreen.

Scar Light 1 -Vegan                                                                        Kojic Acid 

The Benefits: Scar Light 1 is formulated with Kojic Acid which works in tandem with the powerful papaya enzymes to improve the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.  Scar Light 1 aids in removing dead skin cells ultimately minimizing hyperpigmentation caused by injury, surgery or sun damage. 

SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES. 

Directions:

Use daily AM and PM.

Wet sponge or cotton rounds liberally and swirl about inside the jar until you create a lather. Re-wet the sponge if necessary. Rub onto the scar and leave on for 1-2 minutes then rinse.

Best used on older dark scars. Can be used on fresh scars and acne. 

Use product within 12 months of opening. Do not leave wet sponge in container.

Scar Light 2                                                                                          2% Salicylic Acid

The Benefits: Step 2 is an application of 2% salicylic acid which is safe to use daily and will assist in minimizing the appearance of dark spots by enhancing skin cell turnover and promote exfoliation, thereby uncovering a brighter and more even skin tone. Salicylic acid functions by dissolving dead skin cells and excess sebum, both of which can contribute to the visibility of dark spots. 

Directions: Use Daily AM and PM* Depending of size of area make a 2-4 leaf clover by tipping the bottle onto a cotton round and apply to hyperpigmentation. *Use once daily until tolerance builds, then increase to twice daily.

Follow with Scar Light 3.

Discontinue use if skin becomes sensitive.

Scar Light 3                                                                                        Pure Hyaluronic Acid                                                            Plant Based Serum

The Benefits: Scar Light 3 will provide the perfect hydration experience delivering all the replenishing benefits of hyaluronic acid to the skin. Our non-greasy, non-irritating formula was designed to lubricate longer, while penetrating layers of the skin, leaving a hydrated finish which is important following the exfoliating ingredients from step 1 and 2. 

Hyaluronic Acid is known for promoting moisture retention and is able to bind with 1000x its own weight in H20, and infuses the skin with vital hydration. As a lubricant serum it is a safe and gentle, yet high-performance option for depleted skin.

Directions: Use daily AM and PM. Squeeze 2-4 drops in palm of hand and apply to hyperpigmentation.  Discontinue use if skin becomes sensitive.

Ingredients: High Molecular Weight hyaluronic Acid Serum, Leucidal (organic preservative)

Salicylic acid is a chemical exfoliant that dissolves dead skin cells, allowing fresh skin to emerge assisting in the fading of dark spots and uneven skin tone. Our specially crafted 10% salicylic acid can greatly assist to reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation by gently exfoliating the skin and promoting cell turnover, which can fade discoloration over time. Additionally, it can improve scar texture for a smoother skin appearance. 

*Higher concentration requires additional caution and can cause more irritation and dryness. Only use as directed. Discontinue use if skin becomes sensitive or irritated after use.

Directions: Apply 1 x per week PM. Cleanse with Scar Light 1. Make a 2-4 leaf clover design onto a cotton round, or dip a q-tip in the bottle for smaller areas and apply to skin or scar. Leave on for 3-10 minutes depending on skin sensitivity. Use Fan to cool as there can be a slight tingle or heat sensation following application. Saturate cotton rounds with cool water and wipe off the peel.

Follow with Scar Light 3.

Avoid use of retinols, or direct sun exposure for 7-14 days post peel. Always use Sun Screen during the day.
